Make money blogging with freelance and entrepreneurial
blogging
Blogging is instant
publishing.
Think about that. You can type 100 or 1000 words, and
within a minute or two, those words can be read by anyone
with a computer and an Internet connection. This is
immensely powerful. Although blogs started out as "online
journals" blogs are now
used by businesses all over the world to make money.
Blogs are also used
by individuals
as a commercial
endeavor.
These two aspects of blogging for
money -
businesses blogging, and individuals blogging, show you how
YOU can make money blogging. You can get a job as a
freelance
blogger for
a business, or several businesses at $1000 and more a week,
AND you can start your own instant one-minute business.
My
ebook, "Blogging For
Dollars: How to become a career blogger -- in your PJs,
if you want" shows you
how to do both those things.
Become a freelance blogger, blogging for
businesses
A freelance
blogger is
someone who blogs for businesses under contract. Many
freelance bloggers blog for ten to 20 businesses. As you
might imagine, the money they're paid for blogging soon
adds up to a tidy sum. Other bloggers freelance blog for a
single site, like LifeHacker, or Engadget, or for a single business.
You get a freelance blogging job much as you get any other
job. You prepare your resume (in this case your "portfolio"
blog), and apply for blogging jobs.
Start your own blogging business - become a blogging
entrepreneur
Blogs are money-spinners. Many freelance bloggers
develop their
own blogs and monetize them. You can monetize your blog by
selling advertisements on the blog, or in other ways. Over
time, you can develop a network of blogs, aiming to
generate your own personal fortune, because blog networks
have been sold for millions of dollars.
How to get started blogging for money
Would you believe that you can start your own blog ventures
with ZERO capital - with no money for investment at all?
You can. In fact, you can create a blog
within a minute or two, using a free blogging
platform like Blogger.com, and be on your way to
generating income for yourself and your family.
Who's blogging for money?
With 100,000 (according to Technorati) new blogs started
each and every day, the answer to "who's blogging?" is -
lots of people. When I started blogging in 2001, blogging
was new, and it wasn't for a couple of years after that
that blogs started to sell products and advertising, and
blogging became recognized as a legitimate commercial
venture.
So everyone's
blogging.
People are blogging for fun, to generate second incomes, to
develop businesses, to promote businesses, and to promote
ideas. I know work-from-home mommies who are blogging,
accountants who are blogging to generate a second income,
marketers who blog, freelance writers (many) who blog to
promote themselves and their books, CEOs who blog...
Blogging has taken off.
Can YOU blog for money?
Yes, you
can. Anyone
can blog. Even people who hate to write can blog, because
you're not restricted to words in a blog. You can audio
blog (podcast), photo blog, or vlog (video blog).
If you're intrigued by blogging, my ebook,
"Blogging For
Dollars: How to become a career blogger -- in your PJs,
if you want" give you all the information
you need to develop your own one-minute freelance blog,
or blogging business.
